This wedding definitely clocks in as one of our all time favourites. Victoria and Oliver reached out to us after we shot her sister's wedding in Pemberton a few years back (more on that stunning wedding here). We were immediately over the moon with excitement when she told us it was going to be held at Hatley Castle on Vancouver Island. This beautiful castle is part of Royal Roads University and has the most gorgeous gardens surrounding it. The castle in the background feels grand and romantic, and provides a truly magical backdrop for a wedding ceremony. Throughout the different months the gardens vary in their blooms, but from wisteria to roses to peonies, there are always beautiful flowers to be found throughout the summer season.
The dress with removable puff sleeves accompanied by a pearl beaded headband was the perfect look for this fairytale wedding. The absolutely stunning garden party inspired florals were made by the mother and aunt of the bride. As the night drew to a close, the couple headed off with a bubble exit- such a fun alternative to sparklers!
