Let's talk about sunrise!! Okay so getting up before the sun is not something I do on a regular basis, but for a sunrise session it's always worth it! Keep reading for a few of our favourite sunrise perks!
You can usually get the location basically to yourself! (aside from a few early risers or dog walkers) Lots of people head to the beach for sunset but not so many head up early in the morning. Less people means you can really get comfortable with your person and not stress about other people watching you.
You get the whole day to hang out after! We get it, getting your photo taken can be stressful! So why not get it done first thing in the morning and then schedule the rest of the day to spend together. After your session head to brunch or bring a picnic to continue to hang out wherever we shot our session.
Some locations have nicer light at sunrise. The West Van beaches especially we find have the nicest light at sunrise. Coming up over the trees instead of right on the ocean is less harsh and better for photos!
