Golden Ears Provincial Park
Another of this years engagement sessions at the amazing Golden Ears Provincial Park. One of the reasons we love this place so much is because of how different it can look on any given day! For this shoot we shot in the late afternoon before it got to dark to shoot in the forest then headed to the beach. Scroll to the bottom to see if the sun peaked out at the end of the session! One of my favourite things is learning about what our couples love so we can try and incorporate it into the session! These to love popcorn so I surprised them and brought some along for a little beach picnic (and a good snack for the walk back to the car haha!) Before your session we always send a questionnaire - whether it's a wedding, engagement, family or portrait session. This helps us get to know you and your people and see what you like to do together! It helps us suggest locations, bring snacks, tell dumb jokes, make your kids laugh and know what photos are going to be most important to you.
You don't have to be newly engaged (or engaged at all) to get a couples session. It's such a fun way to celebrate your relationship at whatever stage your at! And have some beautiful photos of the two of you laughing and loving on each other to hang in your home or make your phone background. Think of it as another excuse to get dressed up and go on an adventure together. Wash your hair, grab dinner or drinks before or after and run around somewhere beautiful with the person you love!
